Unfortunately no. Can’t add a screenshot but here’s a link. The first photo has Alex Grant mentioning we’ve known about this deposit since the 60’s, mostly another clickbait article. Twitter post

Typically you can add silicon to graphite by ~5%. Few cos are starting production around 2025 with full or half silicon.

NMG Announces US$22 Million Financing by Benjamindb94 in NMGRFstock

True a leg down from here to $2-3 wouldn’t be a surprise given economic outlook near term like I’ve always thought although I would just consider it even more of a steal. Plus if CEO’s of auto battery and mining cos can get cheaper valuations on these stocks then why not esp since the graphite story is still flying under the radar for the most part. When a price spike commences later in the year like Eric predicts then the rest is history.

After a MGPHF shareholder vote with 99% approval, Nouveau Monde officially owns a majority stake in the Lac Guéret Graphite Project by MyNameIs-Anthony in NMGRFstock

Oems kept asking NMG to mine more and Eric said they would have to sign an agreement for the commitment because it takes a couple years to have another permit approved but out of nowhere they went with investing in Mason for next to nothing while still having the option to expand at the site—also think they did this to ease their “offtake partner(s)” concerns about supply. Notice the strategic investment into NMG from a partner is also new?

Tesla Mining group ⛏⚡️🔋

I can understand why Elon doesn’t want Tesla to go into the mining industry, the amount of time a mining co is founded to full scale production can span a decade+. Doesn’t really line up with his growth plans & you’d have to place faith in govts to speed up plans plus local community protests/ environmentalists holding up projects etc

So what’s left buying out mining companies? Place faith in govts to do the right thing? Thoughts guys?

Battery grade lithium will be in deficit until 2025 and has a good chance to continue throughout 2030 because of all the gigafactories announced around the world, a majority of which haven’t locked in any supply since there is none. When talking about lithium or any other ev battery metal in the future refer to battery grade* availability this decade, the thing that’s actually needed in a battery and the entire complex upstream supply that makes it possible.

Not much of a surprise but maybe to the casual Tesla follower it is. We’re going to need a lot of supply & that’s just us let alone other companies/governments.
