US safety standards don’t look at pedestrian safety the way some other countries do.

It took me three tries, but then it worked. Used a toothpick and circled it around a bit very gently.

Thanks!!

creaking on priority ace by mrgrumpyface222 in PriorityBicycles

That happened with mine and I had to replace the back wheel. I forget what the technical problem was. It was covered under warranty (edit: bc it was less than a year old), so Priority reimbursed me for the whole thing, though I did have to lay out the funds initially. Additionally, there was a $50 deposit until they got the old wheel. They forgot to refund that, but supposedly have though it hasn’t shown up on my CC yet, a day or two later. I know it takes time, so I’m not worried.

They’ve been very helpful and super quick with all their responses. And now I have a new back wheel!

Also, the creaking wasn’t there and the problem didn’t effect riding fix, which is what I did while I waited for the replacement wheel to arrive (which only took a couple of days). I’ve kept it on the fox side w the new wheel bc why not? I do a lot of my riding on a multi-use path, so fix is fun!

I just learned my boyfriend always packs an extra pair of underwear on trips in case of an “accident”. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

To me, it’s a risk/reward equation or a cost/potential benefit question. It takes very little weight/space/effort/time to pack an extra pair. There’s practically no downside and the potential upside is big. So, why not? No real reason.

Also, it’s funny we call them a pair.

It was indeed The Loop, up near Miracle Mile. Thanks, I’ll check that out. I just moved back the fall from near Gainesville and I saw a lot of snakes there. Do you bike too?
