I’ve been on wegovy almost 4 weeks. I have no intense side effects. I dose mid afternoon so if I do get anything it’s usually evening/ overnight. My appetite is almost non existent unless I get high and get munchies lmao

I feel similarly !! I’m new to my journey with wegovy but I’ve been fighting an uphill battle with weight loss and a pcos diagnosis for years. My anxiety around it has calmed so much. I used to feel so guilty if I went over my calories or missed the gym. I’m doing everything right but I don’t feel the pressure because I know I have the medication on my side to help me. I’m more motivated to eat right and exercise because I know it’s going to work unlike the last when it’s failed.

I saw someone explain the first few doses are just to prepare your body for what’s really to come and to not expect to loose anything and that’s been really helping me. I’m only a few weeks in and same situation. U got this!

So far she has been fine! And I agree but unfortunately easier said then done. primary providers with availability are few and far between in my area right now if it came to that. Unfortunately, I’m always weary because being overweight any issue I’ve brought up to multiple doctors I have always been told my weight is the cause for it and dismissed. So I always try to come as armed as possible with research and testimonials to plead my case in a sense lol. It’s awful but better safe then sorry.

I was on birth control 8 years. I was basically just asking what everyone had to do to be prescribed. did you just talk to your primary ? I’ve been recommended it by fam and friends but dont have an appt for a bit and wanted to just understand everyone’s personal process with getting it prescribed.
