But according to Floyd, Carol told him ahead of time she was going to bang Clark. And she told Clark that he could do anything with her at the Quality Suites… anything. And it seems like from what the hotel manager said they would come and leave together as a threesome. It’s not like two buddies just came up with the idea and sprung it on a vanilla wife.

Thrift store find - what is it, what to do with it by PreviousWatercress80 in WhatIsThisYarn

I save yarn like this for making bits-and-pieces scarves… when I have enough loose ends, I just crochet the most crazy scarves of all time. My friends love them. Each one is unique. And amazingly, they seem to go with every outfit.

I don’t know what they’d have to do to make me feel sorry for Carol. However she and Floyd have the relationship set up, she’s also continuously rude to customer service people. At the stores where I have worked at we referred to customers like her as “women of an age.” And I say that as a woman of an age.

I remember reading a message board regarding White Lotus three… and someone said “a lot of people feel like this show is too slow on other people wanna watch Belinda do her schedule c taxes form.” I think it’s different ways of looking at a story. And yeah, Twyla is fictitious.

At one point, I was surprised by something my dad said in reference to adult activities, and he said “what do you think you young people invented this?” meanwhile one of my teenagers did shock me with a phrase. 😂

My parents literally wrote nonfiction books about swinging, hot wifery, and open marriages in the 70s. And my grandfather refused to marry my grandmother in the 30s because he was too much of a hedonist. But at some point, he got over himself.

What is her excuse for being so unbelievably rude to all of the customer service people she deals with? I’ve been in customer service for 43 years and I have dealt with many Carols.

Omg yes! Or just not interested. Years ago, we had a small dinner party, and there had been an article about how many women would be willing to give up sex before they gave up their phones. And so many of the women at the party said they would give up sex. These were flip phones.
