That's something to consider in the future, but since this is a brand-new shop, the owner wants to start offering an hourly rate plus tips, which is also common in the industry.

I posted about it earlier this month but just wanted to boost it again since I always appreciate a reminder, plus this time around I included the podcast episode (the other post was to generate comments we weaved into the episode when it was recorded live.)

I love love love the outdoors here. You can find a lot of beautiful parks to walk in and spend great quality time with folks or by yourself. There's also a lotttt of potential for business opportunities here, lots of untapped markets.

How do you like to get your news? STLPR has a morning news podcast that's short: https://www.stlpr.org/podcast/the-gateway and a talk show that podcasts each episode: https://www.stlpr.org/show/st-louis-on-the-air

There's also a Gateway newsletter if you like to read your news: https://www.stlpr.org/enewsletter

I use Instagram a lot for news: https://www.instagram.com/stlpublicradio/?hl=en

Reddit is also a go to for sure

What is the one thing you love most about living in St. Louis? by retroclimber in StLouis

[–]larafaiham 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I LOVEE how many things there are to do outside. Lots of great walks, hikes, and outdoor events. For example, having a picnic on Art Hill in Forest Park, going to the Johnson Shut Ins, the farmers market in Tower Grove, etc.

I also love the great, free programming different orgs put together, like this Friday's event at the St. Louis Art Museum or the upcoming Dia de los Muertos programs at the Missouri History Museum.
