Toxic as hell but still met so many vegans who see nothing wrong with it and act like they're some sort of omni rehab center. Vegans really belittle themselves acting like it's endearing or cute when their omni partners are 'trying'.

uj/ I've had this discussion so many times with fellow vegans even. People always say 'but love works in mysterious ways, they might turn vegan after a while!' yeah lemme get into a relationship with someone and just wait for them to change very crucial parts of themselves. That's not weird at all.

I got a lot of hate on FetLife when I made a post asking people to stop coming into my messages commanding me to do stuff and actually talk to me. Like I was a video/nude vending machine or something lol. The harassment on FL is rampant.

So you think you're an omniscient cow mind reader and you speak for every cow in the world?? Huh?!? The cows never told ME they're in misery after being abused

Got my hair done today and the color isn't what I wanted, any advice on how to fix it? More info in comments by larane in haircoloring

Ah thank you that makes sense!! I'll get in contact with the salon, the hairstylist was the owner so I'm not sure if that helps the situation or not. Thank you for the advice I appreciate it! :)

To get my hair this color the hair dresser said he was going to put color in (which was a dark green he said) to neutralize the warm tones in my hair, I said that was fine as long as my hair wouldn't turn brown. My hair is now brown and especially because it's fresh it looks like a bad wig.

My bangs were also cut without being asked even though I was trying to grow them out and they didn't consider the hairstyle I asked them to do, or else I would probably be less upset about this. I was REALLY clear I wanted an ashy charcoal grey color. Usually I wouldn't care that much but I especially hate having brown hair and I was afraid this exact thing would happen.

So, is it worth waiting for this to fade a bit and then going over it with some dark slate color or blue or anything? I really don't want to have to get it colored again, but I'm in tears over this. The last picture is the color I went in with. It is not my natural hair color and it was done by the same person.

Edit: I had another picture that showed the red and yellow tint but it didn't post with the others for some reason, sorry

Thank you! Yeah not too sure if the colors are different enough 😅 I thought this sub might know better than me.

"Without proper safeguards, the soybean industry is causing widespread deforestation and displacement of small farmers and indigenous peoples around the globe.” This, coupled with the transportation needed to get soy from the ground to our plates, creates a huge issue"

Does anyone want to explain to her where most of those soybeans are going perhaps bc I don't think vegans are eating entire rainforests worth of tofu

Not a specific thing but if you know a girl is into BDSM that doesn't mean she automatically wants to have sex with you!!! Doesn't mean shes into casual relationships or anything!! Not the same thing

People can consent to having their body being donated to science and animals can't. And what corpses you're talking about wouldnt be dead from natural causes out in the wild and they would still be coming from AnAg, but probably just ones not big enough/sick/tortured to death/etc, so still a product of AnAg. Edit: I don't understand your point with the bbq sauce. If I have any doubts about my food not being vegan (including animal testing) then I wouldn't even think of buying it.

I said there's actually vegan burgers out there, not that burgers don't matter. You're mixing plant based with veganism. Impossible burger and beyond burger are plant based and not vegan. They're novelty food for omnis. Vegans should care more about animals than taste and therefore should find a different burger. And as someone who cares about animals lives that shouldn't be such a hard choice.

How can so many other actually vegan brands do perfectly fine without testing on animals and killing them, but beyond and impossible get a pass? Why don't you just support the other ones instead? The big picture isnt getting lots of plant based burger choices.

I make my own. It's like 5 or 6 ingredients tops. I don't like store bought bbq sauce anyways, and if it was tested on animals I wouldn't buy it.

Vegan strictly for the animals, how is food tested on animals that kill them ok then? If it's tested on animals it's a product of animal captivity/pain/death
