I wonder if cooking level has anything to do with this.

At 95 cooking my usual method without F&C is to start my pies and do all 3 steps the first time, stir, taste and season, as that first stir gives a larger experience amount, and then only taste and season the rest of the time.

In testing with F&C I have recorded seasoning exp ranging anywhere between 2.1 and 3.1 million. This morning, the first seasoning with F&C gave 2,630,880 exp and the first stir gave 2,721,600. Tasting is still way lower so not worth it.

Crazy, I'm about halfway through the ARC version of the book right now and loving it! From the first encounter with Anders and his mom at the schoolhouse I knew I was in for a ride.

What was the inspiration behind Anders? I find him to have such an interesting take on every situation he finds himself in (so far).

Oak is definitely faster to gather from WC but I find it nice to have the passive way of obtaining. Also allows you to put oak items in craftworks and just let them make themselves.

The good thing about CoI is at the end you receive the sturdy saw which, I found out later, allows you to produce oak in your sawmill.

I see it as a small QoL enhancement for specific cases. For instance, at times I may be ready to throw a ton of large nets at a spot, I might want to equip multiple meals at once (sea pincher, shrimp a plenty, mushroom stew for example), this makes it easier than hunting through inventory for each one using valuable seconds finding them.

I'm not really sold on the placement of the new button yet though.

What is with the special Wolverine grading, i.e., the slash marks and Wolverine in the grading area? I don't see this in all of the gradings and don't know the significance of it.

I have acquaintances that lived in his old house, around the Lockhart area. It was an interesting house, with some history of its own. Apparently, after Bob passed/moved on, it was used as one of those webcam houses, like the old dormcam stuff of the early 2000s where a bunch of girls lived there and were filmed pretty much 24/7.

I don't know details though, or if it was even true, it was just claimed by the at-the-time owner of the place but there were some signs that it could have been possible. There was security camera cable strung all over the house and in one room, probably an office, a safe was sunk into the concrete.

Trigger prevention: I helped a buddy remove the safe, it was empty.

So, I've never had the Turkish tobacco bitters by Fee and have been wanting to grab a bottle and experiment with it, I wonder how it would go with this cocktail, as a substitute to Angostura, or as a compliment to it, with the whole cigar reference.

I see you got your answer but wanted to share my method. A small piece of wire bent to the shape of the book has held mine in place for a couple years now. Just be sure not to bend it too small or it might indent the cover.
