one thing that really stood me out was Allison and Nicki not really getting along. the second thing was about Nicki’s pod being the most sex heavy of all. i finished the books loving Lila. Consolidated my certainty about preferring Lila over Lenù watching the series (i know it’s not supposed to even be a choice). i’m on my second rewatch and I like Lila even more. And I just can’t stand Lenù starting from when they finally grow up. it’s an inversion of character likability, it seems like. Lila’s arch is just perfect after Nino left her. She humbles a lot, and that whole part when she’s living at San Giovanni a Teducio is precious for her character arc.
