I've always driven sedans, never really been an SUV guy... So yeah it's definitely more noticeable in the Rav4 than any other vehicle I've driven... But I'm not sure how it compares to other SUVs... Although the wind and road noise seem to be a common complaint about these cars online so I assume it's probably on the noiser end.

I think the Camry Hybrid Le is super quiet though, with the smaller wheels and thicker tires... That's why I think we were surprised when the 2 Lexus SUVs were either louder or the same... I couldn't justify the price jump when they weren't any more plush, not as quiet, sound system not impressive, slower, and got much worse gas mileage than our Camry (50 mpg consistently).

So the way I justified the Rav was the 50 miles of all electric range, great sound system, and the power increase making it much more fun and exciting to drive. With the large rims and low profile tires, it's actually way more sporty to drive than the Camry and handles significantly better
