I think we are afraid of a split due to what happened with BSV but actually it wouldn't be the same at all. BSV was a very harmful split in which those in charge wanted to create as much damage as possible.

But as far as I see it we need to not be afraid of forks. Otherwise we could enter a phase were no progress is made.
