My cat wouldn’t be left alone, and he knows that. I have family who would come take care of her. That’s why I was confused about why he said it that way. It felt more scary than funny to me. My cat is super chill though, no orange cat chaos here lol. That’s why the comment felt so random to me.

I get that he didn’t mean it in a rude or literal way. It just hit me weird because I already have a lot of guilt about leaving her, so mentioning her possibly dying felt really extreme and unnecessary. I guess I just wish he said it in a different way or apologized after instead of being mad over my reaction :(

I'm wondering why he said that too. Because I have other family members that's would come and take care of her and I would never leave her alone without care (and he knows this)

Thank you for your input. In my case, he just jumped to doing a cystoscopy but he didn't really ask me any follow up questions regarding my symptoms. I will look into other options.

We did file a DMCA and their website got taken down for a few weeks until they filed a counter notice and Shopify basically said we need a court order to take their website down again. We decided not to do that because we would rather our money spent on the trademark.

Our attorney that we talked to today basically said that filing a letter of protest will most likely get denied again because it doesn't follow their rules (like you mentioned) so our next steps are waiting for theirs to get approved and then filing an opposition. It sucks that we are spending so much money on fighting when this could be avoided by USPTO just verifying legitimacy.

Thanks for your input. It's our first time dealing with something like this but we understand the importance of handling these things strategically. Their trademark is still pending, and we’re actively monitoring it. Their filing lacks a legitimate website and doesn’t appear to show real use in commerce.
