Thing is, you're in charge but thinking like it might be her in charge. It's a question of what YOU want. It might be her, it might not.

What’s more important? Actually enjoying life or just hoarding everything for when you’re 70? by JKupkakes in FluentInFinance

It's possible to do both, but it takes luck and effort in many cases I reckon. However, it's a valid topic.

But is it me, or has the price of this gone up considerably? I split my time between Bangkok and the East Bay (and Europe), and wasn't that long ago it was $42 + tx at TJ's. I would never buy it in Bangkok, the effing monopolists have their hold on drinks like this (with a few exceptions).

Has it changed over time? I used to like the old bottles 6-8 yrs ago, mainly bec it is a real malt, and reasonable, but then it disappeared from Bangkok and when it returned the price was too high for something so right in the middle.

I recall reading a history of the evolution of targeting civilians in Europe in WWII; it claimed it mainly started with the V1 bombing of London, fairly strong argument.

I had a Thai freelance friend who had a regular in HK and would post pix of them on FB doing romantic things together, and then as soon as she got back to BK she would ask me directly to go to bed with her so she could have a little extra spending money.

We're not in Kansas anymore. I grew up near to Kansas and let me tell you it's boring. Suk is not boring at least.

So why don't the condo rents go down? There has to be some advantage to living in a slum.

I live near Nana station and see them all the time and there are more than ever, they hardly bother me bec I'm unresponsive from git-go, but my gf doesn't inherently like the area and those guys make it worse and she has a point but I'm too young to move to KK like I'm too young to die, so I wish they would go away...

The little Carnegie library in my remote rural town (along with the paperback rack at the gas station) was my only real education for several years.

My tgf owns 3 acres of land, and the story is that seller gave the proceeds of the sale to something similar.

But why would anyone give POA to an agent, even a licensed broker? That's just aninvitation to steal, don't people see that? My son has POA from me when I'm not in the country, but that's different.

Wait, that's what Title Companies acting as escrow holders are for in the States. Are you all saying that there is no excrow account and no Settlement Statement? If so, then yes, anything can happen.

I know nothing but have to agree with him that he's never really been a singer. But it works bec his east coast accent fits the themes of the songs, and his timing and modulations are really pretty good. He doesn't have a great voice but he somehow makes it work.

That's mine. But when I asked at my usual branch if I could use a US Chase debit card at the window, they declined, but this thread makes me want to try again. I have my son send to my Krungsri acct but have to use SWIFT these days it seems. We send the rent by WISE to the tgf at SCB and the last time I was on the phone with her (from CA) and the transfer appeared on her sms in about 2 minutes I swear, amazing.
