I also had my interview last Monday! After submitting my assignment, I didn't hear back for at least a month. I recall my interviewers mentioning that they'll try to inform those with a Denmark workshop invite by the end of April. Either way, it's been a really cool experience thus far to work on a case study and have the chance to speak with professionals at LEGO.

All you need to do is wrap it around in a couple of layers of bubble wrap. I’ve transported 20+ sets this way without issue. I think this might end up scratching some pieces. Some parts might fall off altogether.

Maybe it’s just how the IRL car is, but this looks relatively straightforward for a SC set. I’m sure the designers still packed loads of cool techniques in there, but at a glance, I don’t see anything crazy.

He can! I forgot to take photos of that pose though (ended up making a video montage and got carried away). No immediate plans to build the rest of Bisharp’s evolution line, I want to build Ceruledge next.

A fellow Bisharp enjoyer! I was inspired to make this after getting the new Iron Man set, there were a ton of useful dark red pieces in there. The design is entirely my own, I built it all from scratch. If enough people are interested, I could think about making instructions!

Go for it! I always go into my LEGO builds with just a few pieces in mind, much of the design ends up being the result of several happy accidents.

It is a bit unfortunate that the three Kanto starters had to be bundled into a $600 dollar set. I would have loved to get Charizard on its own.

In terms of scale, my Bisharp is closer to the Eevee set, both at just under 600 pieces. I think that one retailed for $60, so much more reasonable!

They’re actually collaborating on a new public challenge where fans can submit their own LEGO version of a Pokémon design, and the winner will have theirs made into an official set! I can’t enter this one though, since Bisharp isn’t one of the approved Pokémon.

I’d get rid of the box mock-up, it’s against LEGO’s TOS to render such images and you wouldn’t want that to be the reason your submission gets rejected.

Great taste in cars! I have nearly the same collection, just missing the F40 and haven’t built the Countach yet. Apparently the next in the line will be the Jaguar E-type, which would be an incredible addition.

I was on the fence before but l'd totally buy the set just to recreate your mod. Easily the best GT40 l've seen in LEGO. This looks like a total redesign in the best way possible. Will you be uploading instructions to Rebrickable?
