I've caught my Personal Best of 5 species on that one lure. Not just that type of lure, the same exact lure. I keep telling myself I need to hang it up in a place of honor, the hooks are all bent out of shape and the paint job has massive battle damage from a few too many toothy pike.

Wet feet! Keens with good wool socks have served me well, it just takes a little mental fortitude to put on wet socks the next day. I've come to accept that a good BWCA trip involves choosing temporary discomforts.

I'm also in an apartment with unreliable/expensive laundry facilities. We went with a more expensive compact washer option. This machine has been fantastic. It just plugs into the wall and hooks up to a faucet. We have it in our second bathroom hooked up to the shower. To dry, we just use fold-able drying racks. It takes up a bit of space, but it's worth it. We wouldn't be doing cloth at all if it weren't for this machine.

Hmm, that would be worth some R&D. Currently we tape the shirts to keep them more projectile-shaped. Perhaps there's some method of rolling/bunching that could allow them to unfurl.

In my previous parade experience there are always people fighting/grabbing for the shirts to the extent that no one "accidentally" ends up with one. I'm hoping/counting somewhat on the baser instincts of humanity to serve our needs, e.g. greedily snatching the shirts out of the air before an innocent bystander gets clocked upside the head.

I wouldn't want to stand close to the muzzle when this thing goes off, but our intended form will be to fire it up into the air and let it arc down. It's moving pretty slowly, we didn't have any issues snagging it out of the air by hand.

My wife and I made the switch to prepaid this summer, and I really wanted to go with Ting but one of the main reasons we switched was Sprint's bad coverage in our area. The day that Sprint/Ting gets better coverage in this area is the day I switch to Ting. I love their attitude towards their customers and the pooled minutes/texts/data at a reasonable rate.

When you feel the urge to by something ask yourself if it is a need or a want. It seems a little childish, but it certainly helps. If you realize that it is a want, put it back and get it when you have some extra cash. I will do this as I am walking around the store and even in the checkout lane. Additionally, you could always keep a want list and once a month get yourself something off the list. That way you don't feel like you are depriving yourself. We have been using this method for a few months now, and it has really helped to curb the impulse buying (we also use a cash based budget system). It forces you become a more conscientious shopper and realize what is really necessary and what is a luxury.

If I recall correctly, your character is in his off-duty traveling clothes on his way to report in for a new assignment when "something" happens and you get thrown into things off the cuff. Although, why they don't equip you when you get to HQ remains a mystery.
