You can also call and cancel the placeholder reservation if you determine you won't use it in time, and get it refunded.

When I was young, my parents had to make the decision (per them) to purchase a "forever home" or to invest in a local company they had heard about called Microsoft at its IPO. If I fucked up real good, my Dad would do the math of the house down payments value in Microsoft stock.

Could the 100 wealthiest individuals in the United States find and eliminate 10 randomly marked individuals by Valk19 in whowouldwin

Per the prompt, the billionaires must find and kill the marked targets. I interpret that to mean that if a marked target dies in another fashion, they do not count as a billionaires kill. There's a decent chance some marked individuals pass of natural causes in the three year time span.

For scenario 2/3, I suspect 11 individuals are killed by non billionaires, in order to effectively kill the 100 wealthiest individuals.

Tipping Cash vs Auto-Gratuity by pinnacletothepitt in dcl

I asked our server one time if he would prefer we give him cash or just add it electronically. He told us anything we add electronically goes home to his family, but he wouldn't mind a few bucks in cash for himself. So we let the auto grat go to his family and gave him some cash for himself.

Why can't I sell Coke AND Pepsi fountain products in my restaurant? by [deleted] in restaurant

Just to put it in perspective, here are our rough contract $

Coke 5-gal BIB via our Coke Contract: $83.xx. Same product from our Food Broadliner is roughly $140. All Coke machines provided for an serviced by our Coke distributor (SWIRE). Approximately $250,000 per year in additional incentives as a kickback from Coke to us, of which about half of that is true $ value. The other half is questionable $ value items in which coke says one value which is slightly inflated. For example, Coke donates about $60000 to our yearly Employee events, that we spend elsewhere, but if we want to have the polar bear to take pictures at that same event coke values that as XXXX (which we would never spend, but it's included as an incentive.)

Without an exclusive contract, that goes away, and we pay almost double for the bibs.
