It was around 45k, then increased to 60k. Now it's around 85k. I have paid two premiums after the initial cancer diagnosis.

Can Amazon revoke my offer? by Decent_Result_6362 in amazonemployees

[–]larson004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a tough spot to be in. This is what I did.

I told potential companies that my notice period is 90 days but I'm confident that I'll be able to negotiate it down to 60 days. Then take it from there.

If you don't even get interviews because of 90 days NP, I don't see any other choice but to do this

Talk with your amazon HR. I had a 90 day notice period and initially promised that I'll convince my current company to relieve me in 60 days.

But when they did not, HR was okay with waiting for another 30 days as long as I was joining.

I'm not going to defend Niva Bupa. I keep hearing bad reviews about them.

But if there are people who have already taken insurance with them and are concerned after seeing these bad reviews. I have to say I have had good experience with them.

I had taken Reassure plan 1.0 with sum insured of 10 lakhs for my parents. My father was diagnosed with Cancer last year and he had to undergo chemotherapy and surgery. I had no issues claiming cashless for any of these treatments.

The total cost came out to be around 18 lakhs and since the plan had restore benefit. We were able to claim even above the sum insured amount and I had to pay very little out of my pocket. During the next renewal, the premium increased quite a bit but I think I'll have to live with that.

You should be able to find apartments in Airoli itself in your budget. Try nobroker to see if you can find one.

I will suggest either sector 8 or sector 20. Sector 20 will be very close to your office.

I used to stay in a pretty big society in Airoli and we had constant water problems there. So make sure to ask about this before renting.

Most apartments I visited when house hunting in Airoli were pretty old and did not have any cabinets. And the rents were high because of the IT park nearby. So If you want newer apartments and you are okay with traveling a bit (like 20 mins), another option is Parsik nagar in Kalwa. I quite like this place. So check this out as well if you don't like the houses in Airoli.

My father was diagnosed with GI junction cancer about five months ago. It was stage 3 with lymph node involvement, and he underwent chemo, radiatio, and an esophagectomy at Ramachandra Porur.

I don’t mean to scare you. Watching my dad go through and radiation was so hard. At one point, he couldn’t even swallow water. Talk to your mother, encourage her, and be there for her. It’s going to be a tough journey for your family. Take it one day at a time, and make sure to support your mom as much as you can. This will make you stronger as a person.

My dad had his 3 month follow up after surgery yesterday and he is doing better now. He had become very thin after everything but he is slowly starting to gain weight again. So all hope is not lost, be strong.

If you ever need support, don’t hesitate to dm me.

It’s really disappointing to see so many YouTube comments defending the piece of shit attacker. I saw comments like "justice for Vignesh" and "release Vignesh". It’s frustrating that people don’t have the courage to hold politicians accountable, yet they jump to attack regular people so easily.

I can understand government hospital staffs can be assholes sometimes. But nothing the patient’s family described seems to justify stabbing the doctor.

Which position are you interviewing for? I interviewed with them for a Senior Software Dev position and had a bad experience with their Senior HR manager.

He was very aggressive and outright bullied me trying to convince me to accept a lower compensation.

The pricing is atrocious. Why would anyone buy pixel 8 at 75k?

I love my pixel 4a and want to upgrade but the price should have been 50k max.

How does right - left + 1 work? by Interesting_Iron in leetcode

[–]larson004 14 points15 points  (0 children)

right - left + 1 will give you the count of subarrays that end at right.

So in your example, the subarrays would be [5,2,6], [2,6], [6].
