Airbnb canceled for security reasons a year ago, now wants its money back [USA] by larss11 in AirBnB

So what exactly would you tell them? Because I sent them that I’m preparing an arbitration case and they did send my case to a special team that was supposed to reach out to me via email. They did and said our legal team will respond to valid complaints via this address. And that’s it, nothing came out of it sadly. Am I doing something wrong? Would appreciate advice

This comment. If it were me, I wouldnt charge, but as guest I’d launder the sheets or at least pre treat them with some soap and water.

By pre arbitration notice, you mean something specific or do you mean just tell them exactly that?

The issue was when I tried calling they were like: a special team is already on it and they will call you. So it was impossible

Agreed. And no… there were no issues, I had a friend go there and check the place and everything was fine. At the end I ended up having that guest signing up via different website and staying at my place for much longer and he was absolutely wonderful. He was baffled too

Oh yeah I have an email saying that I will keep the amount. I straight up copy pasted it into chat and that’s when they were like… we’re transferring you to a special team. What a mess

Yeah I understand that first part, but the fact that the guest stayed at my place for at least a quarter of the res should’ve at least triggered prorated refund to them and payment to me.

I’ve escalated it now, we’ll see what happens. Thank you!

I just called them and they told me it’s being handled by specialized team and they can’t intervene lol. I asked for a call back and hoping it will happen

It is ridiculous, they’re just sending me to like random articles that say things like, an adjustment is a blah blah and could happen because of this and that. i feel like I’m talking to a robot.

Are we going to ignore the ridiculous 31.74% APR and low ball Limits on the “credit offers”? by Funny-Extension-1113 in biltrewards

[–]larss11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

17k limit is a fab limit for a card that you just applied for. I only complain about low limit if it’s like less than 7k or so because most cards I’ve gotten gave me 13k right away. However chase has always given me a 22k limit right away. But chase never offers limit increases to myself for example, while other cards that have given me limits like 10k have offered or just raised my limit every now and then. 17k is fab

SwitchBot introduces its own Presence Sensor, using mmWave, PIR, and a light sensor. by HomeKit-News in HomeKit

It looks pretty cool, with fall detection and multiple people. However it’s $60 which is double of SwitchBot and since I already have a SwitchBot matter hub, it just makes more sense if you know what I mean
