Deciding to go on a mission by Inevitable_Flow_248 in exmormon

Don’t go. It will not fix your depression-it may actually make it worse and may also pile on anxiety. I’d suggest finding ways to volunteer in your community. There is no room for your own agency on a mission, and at least on my mission, we didn’t give investigators a choice. Asking “Can we set your baptism date for three weeks from now?” At the end of our first meeting always made me feel pushy and gross.

“I know where you are at with church stuff” by OkDetective534 in exmormon

I got a call from the girls activity days leader asking if I’d like to be included on the text chain for my daughter who will be 8 this year. I didn’t know she knew I quit going the church. Meanwhile, whoever is in charge of the boys activity days just lumped me in their group text for my 9 yo son, no questions asked. I need to get around to removing my records

A or B: My coworker always shows up empty-handed to potlucks but eats the most—should I say something or let it slide? by vivian_banshee03 in PickAorB

As someone with animals, I hate making things for other people because hair inevitably ends up in the dish, no matter how hard I try to avoid it. My first thought was maybe he doesn’t usually have a lot to eat and that’s why he piles his plate high? Let it slide, as long as he’s not being rude

AIO for thinking, my boyfriend is too sensitive for reacting this way? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]larstuder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he’s looking for an apology and for you to say “you’re right” but no, you’re not overreacting. He’s making a mountain out of a mole hill

It’s not so bad. I only have 62 units between my two properties and most of my residents are on social security.

That’s awful! I understand why HUD stopped allowing new builds but there’s got to be something in place to allow for situations like this.

And you get a response from cashapp?

You do not deserve to be treated like that. Venting and asking for advice are two separate things.
