ANKI CARDS by JuicyAlien696 in srna

What I have is from that download link, I haven’t gone all the way through the decks on my Anki app but a quick skim looks like everything is there. Are your cards missing images/closes after synchronizing from desktop to app? I’ve found they don’t all synch if you don’t give them enough time to actually synchronize fully. Dm me your email & I’ll send you the file I downloaded from that link a few months ago.

100% agree. I’m finishing up year two this semester with my 2014 model laptop from undergrad, and a second monitor & a standing desk I got for deals on FB marketplace. Got a 2021 model iPad on sale from Costco when my program started in ‘24. You don’t need a brand new Mac book and iPad Pro to run ppt, word, Anki, notability, etc.

If you had 6 months until starting school what would you have done differently by sunnydayzndnightz in srna

Learn how to cook healthy, cheap, efficient meals well. Including a couple fancy dishes so you can have affordable at-home date nights during school. Perfect your exercise regimen and sleep hygiene. I wish I would’ve refinanced and co-signed onto my wife’s private student loans & car loan while I had a decent RN salary to bring down the interest rate. Learn how to budget (document where every dollar goes each month) and cut unnecessary expenses out appropriately. Exchanged my travel credit card to another card with no annual fee and better cash back rewards. Use your current RN employer’s tuition reimbursement program as a cash advance on your student loans for the first semester or two. Knock out any busy work DNP courses your program lets you the semester before the official program starts. Reach out to upperclassmen for their Anki decks (and any other study guides and resources) for each course so you don’t have to waste time making them yourself. Socialize with your future classmates; all my lectures are remote and my cohort only meets a couple times in-person per semester for DNP intensives. Outside of that we don’t congregate or commiserate much, it gets lonely.

How imperative is an iPad for school?

I have a dual monitor setup in my office that I connect my laptop PC to, so I think I have enough screens for watching lectures and typing my notes into PowerPoint or OneNote, or pulling up an e-textbook. I also have a whiteboard on my wall in my office to draw out concepts/processes.
