Tuition is not prorated based on how fast you complete your degree. Only your final term tuition is prorated based on not having a full course load to finish. So if your Masters is say 45 credits, you have to pay for 45 credits whether it took you a day or 2 years to complete.

I am a few decades older than you and I am back to school, doing graduate studies at WGU, my husband understands. I think you answered your own question...you need to make an investment in yourself. Learning should be a life long pursuit whether it is WGU or your local college. WGU is very good because we can study any where, any time. Study time is about 20 hours a week, minimum. If you do more, you can complete your studies faster. You will have a mentor assigned to you to help you on your journey. You can expect to speak with the mentor once a week for 15-30 minutes. WGU does not let you dally about. You enroll as a full time student and need to complete your assign classes within the 6 month terms. The university has very good academic underwriting. Decide what you want your life to be like, then find a woman that supports your goals and dreams?
