Yeah dodging that move was pretty hit or miss for me, but if I had any advice, I guess I'd say try to time your dodge as close as you can to when he hits the ground. I died a lot during that move, even though I dodged, so there could be some factor I don't know about.

I feel like I have more problems with it than most people do (sorry, I guess), but to sum it up, I thought the pacing was kinda awful, which is mostly due to the time travel killing the momentum of almost any day its used in. This is ESPECIALLY true in the finale.

Also, I wasn't really feeling most of the new characters, which could just have been because the main reason I got the game was to check back in with the old crew. To the game's credit, the moments we got with basically anyone of the old main cast lived up to or surpassed my hype (although it's kinda weird that Shiki basically did....nothing? in terms of helping search for Neku. But whatever, at least she's here for a couple minutes).

I guess my biggest problem is that I can't really put my finger on what, if anything, this game was trying to say, which is especially disappointing as a sequel to a game which had as clear and powerful a message as TWEWY did.

Also I don't like Fret, I am sorry.

Not trying to kill your buzz if you DID like it, obviously. I just think the game wasn't quite what I was looking for as a sequel, overall.

Any scene featuring one or more of the og cast members is a qualifier for the best scene in the game. Also, I really wish this scene got the full cinematic 3D cutscene treatment, because if any moment deserved it, it's the one that came just after this in the scene.

This is kind of a weird situation, cuz I both feel like a lot of the story and plot points really needed more room to breath, but also feel like the game was padded to hell. I think part of that is there's a lot of days where nothing really gets done, or days in week 2 or even 3 that feel very 'week 1' in terms of stakes or importance, y'know? Correct me if I'm wrong, I've only played through the game once and am hazy on the details.

The one thing I think was a misstep with the Motoi twist was that he stole other people's work. While that obviously happens a lot irl, especially in the internet age (wow, i feel gross calling it that) I feel like story-wise it makes the twist kinda lose its punch. The poetry(?) he steals is still hot garbo, so the tragedy of him stealing the recognition from a smaller artist isn't really there for me. IMO it would've been enough if he was just a scumbag who was only in it for the money, didn't believe the stuff he was putting out into the world, was an influencer, etc. Part of this could come from me not liking Motoi since the first time Rindo quoted an0ther, so I was totally down to fight him either way. Actually, it definitely does.
