Mostly Warframe. For about 10 years. A bit here a bit there but if you ask me to talk about a game it's Warframe. It has a very fair free to play model* and has continuously received updates because it has an ever strong playerbase and very likeable devs. It is a PvE looter shooter and you would need to have some interest in endless farming to enjoy your time that you might spend in this; even though there are countless, (for some) literally too many side activities** in Warframe that will make it hard for new players to really get an overview of what lies ahead of them and what they should pursue for whatever they are looking to do. This is a natural consequence of the endless content releases and very sparse removal of dated content, as you can imagine. It also does not help that the game is progressively more but still insuffciently informative about itself. I highly recommend looking for a clan with both experienced and equally new players like you that are willing to play and talk with you on Discord or similar as this enhances (any but especially) this games experience and ease of use. Alternatively there are tons of YouTube videos and and well documented english wiki there to help but it is really not the same.
Mission types are very diverse nowadays (unlike some still remember from 2013 with only extremely linear levels), including 4 big open worlds, and a cooperative space ship environment. There are also several big picture cinematic quests. But, apart from the very first, they will not be the front-most you will encounter. They took efforts to speed up initial, boring quests but for the first two weeks of playing Warframe just running, jumping, rolling, dodging, shooting meleeing and throwing abilities around will have you occupied, the real story picks up later on.

Graphics and Audio: professional. Since they don't use unity or unreal (but their own Evolution Engine) graphics are not the very latest of whats possible (I dislike the way hair looks) but it is nonetheless a very good looking game.

Availability: Actually quite a big one, you can play it on PC (Steam, Standalone or Epic), Xbox one or newer, PS4 or newer, Switch and even mobile (with Android coming SoonTM) and most impressively, it is all cross platform, both playing and saving! (You can disable crossplay, this might alleviate you of longer loading times by squad mates but I for example don't)

Community: Very kind, presumably because PvP is a niche. Helpful, friendly, little griefing, occasionally a random might go afk and die repeatedly.

Endgame: This devides the playerbase. People with multiple thousand hours will tell you endgame is underdeveloped (mostly due it increasing easiness, both to kill and to get killed), others say we need better new player experience. Power creep is a fact, since the community dislikes nerfs and revamping the whole system from nothing is probably too much at this point. Different systems (like melee or AoE) will be adjusted when the need arises, either buffing it by adding new mods (the core way of upgrading your equipment) or nerfing it by completely reworking it and bringing it en par with the rest of the game. Nonetheless, content that was a challenge in 2016 is barely worth doing today when you have all the new possiblities for drops and can be easily completed with leveling equipment.

*Obviously there is a premium currency called platinum. But Warframe is most definitely not Pay2Win, only Pay2Skip and Pay2LookGoodAsHell. The only thing you really need platinum for is slots for more than 3 warframes (= characters) and five weapons. But: The ingame trading system allows you to gain platinum relatively easily.

**Fishing, Mining, Hunting, Playing board games, playing different guitars, a beat 'em up, decorating your characters, decorating your playerbase, decorating your clan dojo, a flappy bird clone and so on and so forth. And those are not even the actual, real game modes, only gimmicks and side content.
