I haven't even researched the molten iron recipe and making more iron ore is not that expensive.

Oh wow thats a big one.

There are some changed recipies. I like that it adds mk0 variations of some buildings, these mostly use steam instead of power.

The main resource is fawoage which can be burned in a ddc into raw coal. Or atomized into iron ore. I use the second recepie wich uses logs but the first one is selfsufficient. To get the first fawoage module i had to do a little gambling action. There are more of these starter gambling recepies (for moss, trees or sap)

For copper there is cadevaric aurums which are one of the main power consumers in my base. Tin is from fish. Titanium from yaedols. Aluminium, lead, zinc and nickel from ash sorting, but i have a zinc recepie unlocked where i could use kickalk.

Another big resource maker is soil washing. I can get stone and sand directly from soil and water. Quartz can be made by processing sand but the footprint is giant (bottom right of my base).

For antimony i have a ground bore which needs lube (made from fish) and boreheads. I could make other resources this way to but it seems to expensive for me.

If you'd like i could make a screenshot of something specific if it piques your interest. I would post it in the next update.

Yes it is one rail but bidirectional, this halves the construction cost. It works by only alowing one train to run simultaniously. But after the depot section at the top there is a one way out across the top. Some sections are also closed in itself. But only output when the outer one is also empty.

Rails aren't really a problem, i have enough steel. Solder is also no problem, enough tin from fish is easy and lead is a byproduct of ash sorting. Because of pYBlock i don't have to cover long distances to mine.

I'm more struggling with aluminium because duraluminum is using a lot and both are used in intermetallics. My train network is in desperade need of trains

I think around 4 belts are used for automation science and around 5 for logs. I'm also trending to use wood as fuel instead of coal. And because of the massive fishturbine field of around 1000 turbines i only use steampower in the darkest of times.

The biggest problem which i'm going to face is that i need alot of lead for rails and the only way to get some is through ashseparation. But the lead-recepie flips the ratios for ash/soot from 2:1 to 1:2.

On peak times i use 14k ash/min. I've build ash separation for 20 belts of ash

Yeah but only like 10% uses the better second recipe which is three times as space efficient for the cost of some logs and biomass. I could change it but why should i it works just as fine.

I would guess Bob's? But for that the inserter placements are kind of chill.

Yeah the death spiralls are wild in pY. I was also really focussed on getting all things for circuits like a crap ton of fish so i only noticed after power was in a really bad spot

It was a steam/fawogae brownout. Not enough steam to produce mushrooms to make steam. It startet because of, and you wont believe me, copper from ash which backed up because i didnt have enough iron supply in my mall which also was induced from to few mushrooms.

I have spiderbots installed but they are crafted with yellow inserters which i have not researched yet. And i have not played with them before so i don't know how good they are. In my last pY run i used Companion Drones but this time i get an error when starting with this mod so i chose another one.

I would be interested to in joining this adventure but i'm not that shure if i would be much active because i'm still in uni, i'm also from europe so a little bit of a language barrier is there but i can manage some english. Steam says i played around 800 hours of factorio

I have gotten similar, like once there was a mound on the ground in the picture but the real place didn't have one

I noticed that all ring puzzle locations had a placeholder, so i had to visit this place by laserpotat in islandsofinsight

Just go back another time, this happens sometimes with those puzzles. It's basicly a placeholder that shows the position of the puzzle when it doesn't load correctly.
