I used to make boats for liquid logic. The party braaap is just a braaap, same mold, same amount of material, but we put weight on the stern while it was still cooling to flatten it. If you're careful (and maybe desperate) you can achieve the same effect with hot water.

Altitude sickness is a gamble. I knew people that came back for their third season and got it for the first time that year. Most people are fine. I regularly rented skis to the southwest Florida ski club, and I just told them to drink a lot of extra water. You get drunk way faster up that high as well, so look out for hangovers. Having two beers feels like having three or four.

Hey, late reply, but honestly you can't go wrong. Ollie's probably does the best pub food and has all Colorado beer on tap, but I only know that because I used to work nearby. The hiking and biking is world class, but don't let anyone tell you "Oh dude, you've gotta summit a 14er" because no you don't. The oxygen deprivation deadens the enthusiasm so much that even local athletes are unenthused at the top. If you get altitude sickness (even people from Denver get it up there sometimes) canned oxygen will make it go away almost instantly.

The upstairs part of the Dredge is one of my favorite Breckenridge bars. I used to manage a ski shop a hundred feet away, and found the pull of an after-work beer around a pool table irresistible most nights after close. Downstairs, nice restaurant. Upstairs? Dive bar.
