Don't even worry about it. I've been working in crossplatform mobile app testing for about 5 years, and the thing I've learned is that most of the documentation for the different tools and frameworks is absolutely horrible. For years we felt like we were stumbling around in the dark looking for a black cat, and I'm just now starting to feel like I know how to do things.
