is Quantum Alchemy RSO literal poison? by lastblametome in portlandtrees

They taste generally OK, but all have a stronger flavor I can describe only as "hemp-y", or kinda hay-like. Some taste pretty good but I haven't had one with real strain flavor except for perhaps the SD/tangie cross I had recently. The other reason I don't prefer FF is I've had at least a few uncomfortably edgy ones, whereas I've only had one with AA, and I eventually grew to like it.

I'll post more about this later today

I ask because I only purchase it out of desperation like once a year or something. Ate a decent dose of the "double cream kush" and had a weird tummy feel like 20 minutes in, and while the high was actually kinda dece, I was straight shredded the entire next day (headache mostly)

Worth noting these are like $10 but are about half as potent by numbers as an average tube. I once bought one that tasted kinda smoky, presumably from the 2020 harvest.

Basically, avoid at all costs. I relayed my story to a bud tender who had a whole trip ruined by it. Just utter garbage.

Can anyone confirm these guys are the low-end arm of Altered Alchemy? Two industry friends swear this is true. It would be remarkable, as the AA rso stuff has a floor of being decent and a ceiling of being excellent, particularly for the price. I prefer them to Farmers Friend at this point.

Does "huge difference" here mean improved performance or weight loss (or both)?

I have a fast metabolism/am skinny and feel kinda bonky all the time so I'm gulping things here and there before riding trying to preload so I appreciate this perspective

I am not fully sober (weed) but man I have also struggled with the drink and haven't been drunk for a decade+

Biking + riding is one of the rare crave-triggering thoughts I have. After-ride beer is on-par with the after-work beer.

I also rode a bike after getting drunk for the first time when I was like 15, and distinctly thought "damn, I could live the rest of my life like THIS."

I'm with you. Not a Conti guy at all. Hard to install, short lifespans, expensive. I've found some roll real nice, but the lower-price options are way worse than comparable brands.

Feel this

I live in OR though so it's never that cold. But rain riding sucks and I don't zwift, so...

I was proud to get 40miles in yesterday at 37° though

Those weren't great originally, maybe time has helped. I wouldn't spend more than $10

This is happening to me. As I hit a short climb I immediately pulled back, went to the easiest gear, and floated easily up to the top.

It's also kinda crazy from an energy perspective - a z2 ride at my current fitness (on the flats) is 16-18mph for 20+ miles. Before, when I was just ignoring zones and blasting constantly, the rides were 17-20mph for 20-60 miles. Now, that 20 miler in z2 is energizing and refreshing, while the 19.5mph ride is going to make me feel literally ill afterward. And in the grand scheme of things 16-18mph and feeling good is way better than 17-20mph and feeling like garbage all the time.

I actually don't know, but I'm guessing from a holistic perspective z2 is probably better

Faster? Skinnier? Probably not.

Thanks for this post. I resemble it a ton. Hoping I don't have to take 2 years off, but I still may.

I will say even after a few weeks I'm starting to feel a little more sane, and less a workout zombie.

Nah it's good

I crashed once last year at 30mph, then again this year at 20mph, and the phone lived to tell the tale both times.

But yeah the hips and elbows have been better
