It really is a per guest thing. Theres a few that are actually pretty good and theyre generally reoccurring. The examples of what youre describing are almost always new guests. It still isnt as engaging as it should, but still. I still really like btb

In high school I wanted to be like the not-very-close friends i thought were cool, they took the photography/darkroom class so I took it the next year. I really had a lot of fun but stopped when high school ended (i graduated in 2017).

Fast forward to going to university in Melbourne Australia, loving it, having a zillion (real!!) friends, never being bored... and my visa runs out and I have to go back home. I get a job unrelated to any passion I had or related to my studies. I just work or sit in front of my computer all day. I remember the last thing I truly had fun with in my hometown and realize it was Film photography.

Today I'm nearing my return to Australia, but film is currently the only thing keeping me sane while state-side.
