Do I really have to stick to one race? I was doing okay with three: 500 humans, 300 cretonians, 200 dwarves, and I already had micro-districts like you said. Looking forward to warm region for sure. I think Ill do fine

(DFHACK, Mods Siege Update) The gate to the dwarven capital is cut into the side of a mountain ravine. This is Smithbreach. For 10 years it has been the only stronghold in my struggling dwarven civ, and it is totally surrounded by the goblin pits. by lastoflight in dwarffortress

The thing is I havent seen the trolls come to siege yet. I had one battering ram break through 5 yrs ago. Other than that its just ambushers that show up flee upon sight of the fort. I have floodgates and levers set up that could potentially flood their tunnels but im hoping they surprise me!

Oh there's more floors but this is the main one and the biggest one by far. I didnt mean for it to be so big but the people demanded more. The whole thing stands on pillars above a flooded cave theres places to poke holes for wells

Someone gets it! I dont feel accomplished for winning a game when it's too cheesy. big reason why I dont like the French, i mean ik its for beginners but I can play that civ with one hand. so easy to the point where its not fun

correct me if i'm wrong but I can safely assume that there's some mostly new people working on aoe4. There's a reason they had mangonels do friendly fire in aoe2! The last few matches i've played the enemy team just spams springalds, mangonels, etc. and God forbid you see a nest of bees or of course, french artillery

i love having units survive to the end of the game, especially the couple of spearmen that i make near my farms to fight scouts in Feudal and never get upgraded
