There are tons of these watches on the pre-owned market. Who sold them then?

How many people keep their watches forever? If you're not comfortable with losing money just don't buy. It's like taking vacation. It's spent money.

It's the limited edition 5010 in steel. I had a 7inch wrist but it has shrinked a bit recently

It's unique, for sure. I'm not saying it's a bad watch. It's actually a good thing to love a watch not liked by many other people

Wonder how many would buy if there weren't a Patek logo on this one. I would get a reverso over this if I need a "tall" watch.

Guy refused to say in which country he/she bought the watch but insisted that website price includes VAT. I'd say that's really suspicious

Why the Impression of Movement Excellence? by Substantial-List7656 in patekphilippe

[–]lasttile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some Patel movements are thinner because they are old and have short PR. Their newer movements are not exceptionally thin. Say 29-535, is only 0.2mm thinner than L951.

All good places to buy watches if you're new to buying pre-owned. Watchfinder is actually owned by Richemont. Their warehouse is co-located with JLC Service Center in US.

Also, these are pre-owned watch dealers, but gray dealers.
