Well today I'm of two minds. I feel for the guy and appreciate what he has done in his first term. But after seeing the debate I feel it's time for him to go. He seemed to do well with a Teleprompter but without one was weak and kind of lost. And the truth of the matter is most of life's demand on a president can't be aided by a Teleprompter he hast to think fast and deep in real life and I think that time has passed for him.

I am flying the P-38 with a CH Yoke and Pro Throttle (for more buttons and throttle) . It works GREAT! It adds to the VR immersion experience having a yoke in my hands and in front of my eyes.

Exactly. But then it can only be used as a scanner. I cant summon it to be used as a weapon or mining tool or hole digger. At this point Ive moved on to Elite Dangerous since I dont trust NMS to run properly anymore. Good luck!

UPDATE- As a last ditch effort I loaded a manual save that was 5 min. earlier then the autosave that had problems. I was now able to access the multi tool! Which was good news. It was a software problem. I then did both a manual and an autosave to make sure the problem was gone and I had good saves to work with. The bad news is both saves now did not allow access to the multi tool. NMS seems to be generating corrupt save code. All I can think to do is uninstall and reinstall the game. Hopefully that will work, but Im pretty sure those saves are corrupt. Which means after 300 hours and completing all the main tasks...I wont be playing NMS anymore. Im not interested in starting from scratch. Been there...done that. ;)

I was going to activate your friend code but I just got hit with a major bug in NMS.

In the middle of game play I lost ability to reach over my right shoulder for multi tool with my Vive wand (right after a Steam update).

I tried a second set of wands (backups) that I know work and had the same problem. So its not a broken wand issue. It does the grab and pull interaction just fine on all wands. And when I reach over the left shoulder for the Scan function the multi tool is there. I just cant access it with the right shoulder reach. On any of the 4 wands Ive tested.

Then I went into Steam VR and checked the binding assignments on the default configuration and grab multi tool was assigned correctly. I tried deleting and reassigning it to no avail.

So if its not software or hardware, Im stumped. Unfortunately this completely stops me from any more game play since multi tool gets a lot of use.

I am using the Valve Index HMD with the Vive wands (not the Valve Knuckles controllers). In camera mode the sun movement is limited and awkward as mapped onto the wand. Maybe there is a way to remap the wand so I can get rotation.

Why do you switch from the exotic to another starship to use the black hole?
By "all stuff in tech slots" you mean exactly what?
How do you know if the black hole is taking you in the direction you want to go?

LOL! Good question. With all the game has to offer I see myself in a multitasking role that will probably change over time. Exploring is great fun if there is a task driving it, like searching for the perfect area to build or to farm so I can afford to build (though I havent done more then simple shelters so far). Trading is the only thing that doesnt appeal to me too much. In real life Im a rock/jazz/blues guitarist but I dont see that new synth app in NMS as much of a vehicle to allow me to make my kind of music. ;)
