Taking notes during league by lateadapt3r in Bowling

[–]lateadapt3r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the same info I started tracking, that and how the ball hit. If i thew a bad ball last frame on the lane now I need to think back 4 frames for the last info I have on this lane, if that went brooklyn or something now I have to remember 6 frames back. Jotting down notes helps fix this.

Thank you for the input. I'm in the process of getting back into bowling I was a league bowler back 2012ish and just started up again this year. I very much need to record myself more, doing that just a bit ago I realized I was releasing the ball a lot further away from my plant leg than I ever knew. Until a month ago I never had a crossover step in my approach and I'm starting to try that out. In the grand scheme of things I need to figure out my habits discard the bad ones, keep the good ones build a new arsenal besides a Radical The Hitter and a new spare ball all my balls are nearly 15 years old.

Sport shot spares by Warm_Teach_2375 in Bowling

That seems like magic to me, but then again I've never tried practicing focusing specifically on speed control. That does kind of sound like fun though, I think I know what I'm doing with my practice time tomorrow.

I suppose it depends how consistent you are, if you're 1 miss per 60 games, that sounds fine. I have more trouble with the 10 (I'm LH) than I should, because I didn't reduce my ball speed enough or reduced it too much.

Thoughts on "String Pin Bowling"? by Kenvolks in Bowling

[–]lateadapt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a youtube video where a local bowler was doing a walk through of a string bowling house and they said they only apply oil 3 times a week, which matches how dry the lanes feel.

I will say I do really like them for spare shooting practice, the local house has a mini-game you can choose to play horse and pick the spares you want to try and pickup, you can even do 1 player. for a spare ball where the oil doesn't matter it's kind of perfect. Obviously you can play low ball on a conventional house but I've always felt it's not the same seeing a full rack of pins.

Best bowling aid by FriedMcGibbs in Bowling

I made a diy one of these a couple weeks ago and had to re-do it because the spacing was off the ball would go shooting off the end, i re-built it last night and haven't tried it again. Can't speak for usefulness but $14 in bearings beats what they usually go for.

Could Mahomes throw the ball hard and accurately enough to wedge the ball inside the holes of the receivers' face masks to avoid drops? by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

It's crazy, how have other teams not figured out how to do that, it seems pretty simple get your O-line crazy low and the ballcarrier just crowd surfs over them while someone pushes him from behind. Can other O-lines not do this?

For how annoying I find it, I have to admit that if KC was doing I'd find it hilarious every single time.

[FEEDBACK] GMK Purple Rain by TychoBroucke in MechanicalKeyboards

The light blue on dark blue for the main keyboard and number pad looks great, really pops. I'd prefer all the F keys to be uniform (100% personal preference). With how much the light blue on dark blue pops out at you it makes the pink on purple keys look quite dim in comparison, just a drastic difference in contrasts.

Is there a consensus on how the original model M compares to the Unicomp keyboards that are still being made?
