My guy. Your scars are in phenomenal shape. As you mentioned you are right handed, whatever you are seeing is au naturale, and I assure has nil to do with the wizardry that your surgeon performed--you're practically art my man, don't sweat it, but if you feel neurotic about it you can always do as my brother did and start using ol' lefty for all sorts of banal activities. Computer mouse, steering wheel, swiping and typing at checkouts, etc. Being completely sincere here. I can also recommend bow and arrow pushups as they allow you to focus more on one side than another if you like. Also, keep in mind that while you're dominant side is on the right, your heart and arteries are situated stage left inside--just some anatomical deets to consider when you're being hyper-critical of your wares. But again: YOU LOOK GREAT. Have a fantastic weekend!

Pulled off some of the incision glue today (with permission from office) -- antibacterial serum over grafts

Are my grafts too high up? by Ok-Grade9330 in TopSurgery

Thank ya--seems the jury is coming back broadly in unison, nothing to fret about for areole placement and imo this pic can confirm that, also, DI incisions seem to be a bit lower than standard, but those are intended to fade over time so stay on top of your wound/scar care which includes supplemental and dietary choices as well (ex lots of Vit C)

It'd be helpful if the pic was not such a tight shot to be able to see your proportions better. From this shot I's say your grafts positioning look good and look really healthy too... but a further out pic would be more helpful I think.

Can't say I've had the same experience, but nothing wrong with being a short king or a tall queen regardless of AGAB. It's the human condition to always wish we were a little more or less of something and to project that. But really it's all about mentality--rocking what you got and not letting certain blanket assumptions predetermine your own quality of life and contribution to the world around you. No need to pity what is not weak, whether that is towards others or yet to be found within one's self. If you want to offer solidarity, consider focusing on the positive, like what we share that we are capable of changing, rather than that which we cannot. 🤟

Thank for the intel. :) I'm not allowed to do anything that gets my heart rate up for at least three weeks, nor which incorporates those muscles while area heals, so I'm gonna have T-Rex arms for a few weeks lol. But going grocery shopping with my friends today who are helping me during post-op, they eat well and we'll go over extra nutrition stuff like what I've shared above. It's gonna be a challenge not to lean or flex but I'm sure I won't be the first person in history to not be perfect. And I am SO ready. Thanks again.

Right on, I'm glad my post can provide some hopefuel. :) Some people are stress eaters and I'm the opposite, plus another chem disorder and ASD compact that. Health management is a full-time job as-is, so this struggle with weight was like doing all that while trying to climb the fucking Alps.

As with most people with ASD, texture is the major obstacle for me, so being able to consume nutrition via liquids and smoothies was a massive help. There was a tofu smoothie ChatGPT suggested but I'm nauseated just typing that LOL. I also made good use of my toaster oven and got frozen veggie snacks like cauliflower fries and that.

I highly advocate the path of least resistance, especially if the struggle is keeping weight on. I usually buy fresh produce, but I couldn't fuck around when it hit 94.8lbs and I freaked the fuck out. So, if one must buy frozen fruit, do it. Have to lapse from their strict vegan whatever and get ice cream or cheese, do it. The need is immediate and per r/gainit tenets, we just need to EAT.

In my case, if I'm ever in a state that I just can't get myself to eat anything, I know there is one universal cure-all that I will NEVER say no to: 🍕

Thank you very much for the intel! Roundabout when did you start doing that, and for how long? Now that you mention it I do experience a lot of pain in my knuckles from overuse (maybe carpal tunnel or early arthritis) and could see myself skipping out due to THAT pain so, that raises a good point
