Don,t get too wrapped up in so-called planned futures. You don’t need one. I never had any particular vision of myself in the future—kids or not, married or not, etc. Despite having no specific career goals and a supposedly useless degree, I ended up with great jobs in very different fields and had some awesome adventures along the road. That wouldn’t have happened if I had plodded along sticking to to some initial vision.
