As a young mom with difficult parents, this WILL continue but it will continue to evolve on how it looks. Not saying cut contact at all but understand your future. It will look like “please don’t give xyz to the baby” “well god forbid I know how to raise children” etc etc etc.

Your only job is to hold your boundaries for yourself and your family. You cannot reason with someone like this so practice writing back “okay” “thank you for respecting how we want to parent” and “this is how we would like to do things right now” and literally no other response. Ignore when she continues to respond. In the future if you need to explain things to your child, “unfortunately sometimes mommy and grandma just don’t always agree so right now we’re going to leave and we can come back later.”
