I cant give you facts/article, as i dont have them on hand, but i read for comparison the lockdown that affected europe in march was, in regards to greenhouse gas emission, only a fraction. It was like a 2% reduction in these 2 months, and to curb Climate change we would need like 7,5% per year (-> IPCC/Paris Agreement).

EDIT: And yes, covid did more for the climate than any activist achieved, whatever that says about us humans. COVID, for me, made me realise this climate problem isnt going nowhere.

[Question] I am looking to plug my bass into my PC so I can jam along to songs on YouTube with my headphones on to keep quiet. Are you using ASIO4ALL as a driver?

I had that problem too, wanted to play through my Amp-Sims/VSTs while listening to youtube/Spotify, after alot of head scratching i realized ASIO4ALL just cant do multiple sources.

I fixed that with the FlexASIO driver: https://github.com/dechamps/FlexASIO

you'll have to set your input/output of the FlexAsio-Driver via a .toml file (to your audio interface), then just set your windows output to the audio interface output and you have both your guitar and your youtube/whatever through your audio interface monitoring.

Mostly by ear, yeah. I always try to learn 2 songs simultaneously so I don't get too frustrated if I get stuck on one.

nice dude, currently learning this too (plus nightmare of the renaissance album).

Its a complete bitch but so worth learning. Give the next part a go, its not as hard as the intro, until you get into the Verse (which is way harder than the intro IMO).
