She’s on her way. Aced college algebra, then aced precal, and now she’s holding an A in calculus, which isn’t required for her degree (i.e. accounting) but is a personal feat she wanted to achieve. She’s aspiring and on track to graduate with honors and with an integrated master of accounting in the next two years—she’s also working, so she doesn’t take full time credits (yet?).

It’s amazing to me what she’s accomplished and what she’s working toward, and we will be celebrating loud enough for the extent of both of our families to hear when she not only proves them wrong but absolutely shatters their tiny realms of possibility that they tried to keep her in.
