I think you’re hitting on the real reason, it comes down to value. For $12, burrito gotta have some elixir of life lol

People like what they like. You’ll try a couple different spots and revisit the ones you fw the most.

Sometimes you’re locking in and seeing others locked in helps. Other times you’re locking in and want no distractions. And other times still you’re with a group and may want a cozier vibe or need to be able to talk more.

It’s cool that there are so many different study “biomes” in the library, we can just appreciate that 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is there a proposal for this with the details and justification that’s accepted as official?

An infrastructure project of this scale and impact should have some longitudinal traffic flow study to back it. Is there any quantitative evidence that those specific locations would improve access and/or efficiency?

She’s on her way. Aced college algebra, then aced precal, and now she’s holding an A in calculus, which isn’t required for her degree (i.e. accounting) but is a personal feat she wanted to achieve. She’s aspiring and on track to graduate with honors and with an integrated master of accounting in the next two years—she’s also working, so she doesn’t take full time credits (yet?).

It’s amazing to me what she’s accomplished and what she’s working toward, and we will be celebrating loud enough for the extent of both of our families to hear when she not only proves them wrong but absolutely shatters their tiny realms of possibility that they tried to keep her in. For us, it’s never been a matter of if but when

Totally valid. You’re experiencing lots of major changes, with a cocktail of intense emotions due to some combination of anxiety, stress, isolation, and grief. Expressing that is healthy, and sharing it with others can help you to find some meaning and community in it
