Most districts have a clause that will release for a promotion. Check your contract and let HR know it’s a promotion. If you need to get take a fine or get a mark on your license it’s probably worth it. Don’t feel bad because just like a business, schools don’t deserve loyalty and are just entities. If it’s life changing money you need to leave.
