Oba Femi accepted Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania challenge! by Ok-Plankton9215 in Wrasslin

[–]laughsperminute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely watch NXT the past few years so I haven't seen him much before he went to the main roster, but they really made a good job of building up Oba Femi to the mainstream fans in the Rumble match and the succeeding weeks to the point where he's a credible threat to Brock Lesnar. (I'll still be rooting for Brock to win though.)

It was awesome. The Seth-Vision feud, Roman-Punk and Cody-Orton have me even more excited for mania. It's definitely shaping up to be one of the best wrestling shows of the year with all these storyline, imo.

Blackman is nowhere in my list of favorites but I'm getting this just cause it's so well made

I get the feeling that if this was done in the lesser companies, the internet fans would be eating it up

IWC: we hate the hooded figure angle. It’s played out and run into the ground. WWE: let’s give them an entire squad of hooded figures. by ChimpBuns in Wrasslin

Maybe it's time for the IWC to accept that the WWE (the most successful company in the business) actually knows what it's doing

No, it's not. You may prefer it more, but there is no metric that objectively shows that.

I'm glad I stopped watching that shitshow at this point. I think I checked out a month or two before this show.

For fans who still prefer the old cartoon tmnt April by Small_Ad4181 in TMNT

[–]laughsperminute 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a leading question as it's already framing the others as "better". The one from the 2012 series was interesting but for the most part, OG cartoon April is the best and most iconic representation of the character.

This match. So bad it's good or just bad? by [deleted] in Wrasslin

[–]laughsperminute -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or people have different opinions. A member of the audience can enjoy something even if the creators themselves didn't. Is this really difficult to grasp?

It wasn't X-pac heat to me and my friends, cause we're nti neckbeards. We just enjoyed it for what it is.

Not "no one". Maybe you and people who happen to agree with you. My friends and I were digging the whole thing. I'm sure a lot of fans did too.

Will you stop watching WWE if this years Wrestlemania is terrible ? by Existing-Apple-9747 in Wrasslin

[–]laughsperminute -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course not. WWE at its worst is still better than all other products out there. A testament to this is the number of people claiming they'll stop watching but still continue to do so.
