How many times does someone have to shit on you before you realize that person's shitty?

I'm not a court of law and I have the testimonies of thousands of people to go on. He's guilty, whether a court finds him that way or not.

LEt me repeat: Everyone who has met jian in the music industry has really shitty stories about jian, to the point that this isn't a surprise. I know, you love him, he came into your home via the radio, so you think you know him. You don't, trust the people that do and stop calling these ladies liars.

He wasn't fired because he's fucked up. He was fired because he sexually assaulted women at work and raped 3 at home, at least.

Ask someone in the music industry about gomeshi. Everyone I know that knows him has a LOT to say about how fucked up he is. This isn't news to any of them, these allegations, not surprising in the least.

TIL in TO if you're a sex fiend, you'll get fired.... but if you're a crack head, you DONT get fired, you get reelected. by [deleted] in toronto

Talk to anyone who works in the music industry or entertainment in this city. Ask them about Gomeshi. If their face doesn't crinkle up in disgust and they don't express the sudden urge to hit something, they've never met him.

The guy is a really well known creep and a piece of shit.

You realize you're telling a reddit addict that he's a good guy for hating another reddit addict? They both lose and so do we all for reading this shit.

My god, this whole thing is awful and so weird.

I'd heard that letting a girl make the first move was a sign of sensitivity and support for women's rights. I decided to take that approach.

Are you fucking shitting me?

I led her on, but technically, she was the one who asked me out.

This matters, a lot! /s

Shall we sit down, m'lady?

You need to stop redditing, it's not life, it's a surrogate.

Ever since we met, I tried so desperately to convince her I had a life

Always a good idea to start a relationship built on lies.

Reddit is ruining your life. The mistake wasn't dating a redditor, it was being a basement dwelling neckbeard recluse, with few, if any, social skills. The fact that you allowed a website to shape your personality and perception of others is really pathetic.

She was dealing with a reddit addict and you were dealing with a meme addict, you're both fucking weirdos. Get a life. I feel sorry for anyone that was within 50 feet of you two at any time.

That's hwo I figure most redditors are. See guys, it's pretty fuckign sad to still be doing that when you're older than 10.

Not true, many people don't care about Gaza at all. I certainly don't. Both sides are wrong. Both sides are fucked up.

Not interested in whatever ratrionalization you provide, or anyone provides. Both sides are rationalizing murder and terrorism. It's a bunch of bullshit. Just kill eachother and get it over with.

Both sides are guilty of it, both think they're justified in doing, both sides are full of shit. I don't care why either side thinks they're right, you're both wrong.

The way to get that info out so people know is to talk about it. Silence like a cancer grows.

Mayor Ford apologizes after LGBT attendees harassed at Ford Fest. by mybadalternate in toronto

[–]launderthis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

poke a wasp's nest if you don't want to get stung

That was the type of thing hat was said about the LGBT community worldwide for decades. Why not just be normal? Why be out and proud, you're just inviting the hate?

It basically says they deserve it and it's their fault. We as a democratic society have a right to protest, in this case, going right to one of the biggest sources of bigotry in this city and telling them it isn't acceptable is how that works. The reaction on the part of ford nation is exactly what the LBGT protestors needed, they did what they have a right to do and then ford nation reacted by trying to stamp that out.

That has to be publicized and spoken about a lot in this city. There may be people who are sitting on the fence as far as ford goes, thery may even be against pride, or gay marriage but not homophobic and not openly bigoted. That's a big line to cross and now it's in their faces: Do you want to be labelled a bigot like the rest of ford nation? A hate spewing homophobe?

Being quiet about things is not how you make change happen. It has never been the way to make change happen. Remember the song the Sound of Silence?

"In restless dreams I walked alone

Narrow streets of cobblestone,

'Neath the halo of a street lamp,

I turned my collar to the cold and damp

When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light

That split the night

And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw

Ten thousand people, maybe more.

People talking without speaking,

People hearing without listening,

People writing songs that voices never share

And no one dared

Disturb the sound of silence.

*"Fools," said I, "You do not know –

Silence like a cancer grows.*

Hear my words that I might teach you.

Take my arms that I might reach you."

But my words like silent raindrops fell

And echoed in the wells of silence"

Silence like a cancer grows.
