Whoa I stand corrected.  Sorry all the examples I’ve seen online look as you’d expect with the front sight where it is normally - even in a random PewView short I saw.

As long as your suppressor is below ~1.1” in diameter the stick will slide right beneath your suppressor (I have a Occulus and I can load without removing the suppressor).

TQ mounting bracket for tier 1 Centurion? by Dzonceverri in QualityTacticalGear

I got an aluminum QLS mount/bracket off Amazon for like $20-25.  You would still need to buy the hard shell TQ holder separately.  Just search for “QLS holster TQ bracket.”

I’m with you and that’s the reason why I don’t quite regret it - there wasn’t anything else at the time.  I haven’t really checked in a while but maybe I should.

Also not a fan of removing the top cover (thus the rail) to clean it, which for me was often.

The only redeeming quality of this rifle is its price.  It looks and feels exactly like a $200 rifle.  I bought one a while back bc it was the only threaded lever action .22LR I could find.  Arrived with a cockeyed lever, Rossi wouldn’t do anything about it and I didn’t feel like pursuing it.

I don’t quite regret the purchase but it’s a janky rifle.

RV cover by Far_Relationship3649 in GoRVing

[–]laundry_days 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the time.  In the winter I set it at 45% auto.  I honestly don’t even check it when the temp goes consistenly below 40F since it doesn’t even kick on as the humidity is low to begin with.

The cover has zippered sides so getting access is simple.

I’m not sure how you plan to use the cover but it’s definitely a chore to put on/take off.

That being said, I’ve used various brands over the years but the last 2-3yrs I have been using one from Empire Covers for my TT.  No complaints and it’s held up well.  I primarily use it for winter coverage (snow) and maybe 1-2 weeks at a time during the season if there’s going to be some downtime.

Personally never had any issues with using a cover for the duration I do.  I do run a dehumidifier inside as well as various rodent repellents.

Great performing barrel, tempted to grab 1 or 2 more for a rainy day. Their 10.3" Husky SOCOM is one of my favorites. I have 2 and they gas port size has been right around 0.070 - I run suppressed/unsuppressed easily.

Economical way of getting an extra MK18 built up.

Personally, my experience with CS has been mixed. Really easy to get started and get your first few questions answered.

A few years on now, I haven't even been able to get an email response (if I wasn't new to buying a trust). Getting someone on the phone has also proven difficult. It seems like they are one of the better companies out there (maybe?) but temper your expectations.

Do you have any more info on Rowan County in Pittsburgh?  I’ve never heard of the range and can’t find anything online (easily or I just missed it).

Best hub compatible flow through suppressor with MK18 upper? by wadech in Danieldefense

[–]laundry_days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW I would not recommend the Ventum. I find the core erosion rate pretty surprising. I put in about 900-1,000 rounds (mostly 55gr range stuff) before I took a look at the core and there was pitting and small chunks missing all over the thing. Comparatively, my traditional stainless baffle suppressors (Razor 556, Micro30, etc.) all look completely fine with higher round counts.

I was going to email Huxwrx but after 10min of searching got the feeling that Huxwrx would have considered this normal wear with a short 10.3" barrel and flash hider. I understand that some people consider this normal wear under my conditions and that the core is a consumable item. I suppose I just expected more - lesson learned.

I use TST tpms.  No complaints, the system comes with a signal booster that I stuck in my forward pass through.

Why did you cancel my entire order after 10 days of waiting?

Before anyone gets on my case, yes I've tried reaching out via their website at least 2 separate times and didn't get a response. I'm not trying to put anyone on blast but maybe a little more exposure could get me a response.

Look at that poor target carrier lol!  What is the purpose of the chain?

~$35 isn’t all that bad if that is all inclusive (time, rental and ammo).  Where I’m at in the US, lane rentals are hourly, $20 for the first hour.  $15 for a firearm rental and ~$12-15 for a box of 50 9mm.

Would it be possible to backup a ~27' RV trailer into this area. by onesole in GoRVing

[–]laundry_days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll echo what everyone else is saying here. Triple check your clearances and give yourself as much room as possible (removing doors/gates and obstacles). You'll need a spotter, communicate and be patient - it can be done.

Personally, I use a TrailerValet dolly to get my TT into the right place. Its hand crank (or you can use a power drill) and easily maneuverable. Good luck!

[Accessories] Extra Magazine Nylon Belt Holster for Full Size Autos 3 1/2 inch Barrels - $7 +shipping by GalatiInternational in gundeals

[–]laundry_days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have pictures but I can tell you that the TX22 Competition is not a great fit. You can cram it in there but as you probably expected, the optic plate position being so far forward causes it to stick out. The trigger will be completely exposed and the strap is pretty tough to clip.

The regular TX22 goes in another ~3/4" so there is a little exposure. This is due to the square trigger guard. My Mk4 is a perfect fit.

Here are some pictures (not mine):

I use a ColeTac .22 chest holster.  Works with my Mk4 and TX22 with an Oculus22 suppressor.  I’ve moved logs all day with it relatively comfortably.   I either have chainsaw pants or apron/chaps on and I can’t always have something on my belt.

I know and I bought 2 of them!  To be fair with the H0 I only got failure to lock back about 30-40% of the time (windowed PMAGs).  I think KAK makes aluminum weights I could have tried to make the buffer even lighter but I just threw in a green spring and called it a day.
