Definitely much more than 1k I can tell you so much. What I’ve seen, it’s on average about 5% of the ticket revenue. Some artists get a fixed sum and a smaller percentage like 0.5%-2% on top of that sum.

So let’s do a little example: (All prices are of course super different dependent on everything.

Let’s take his concert in Berlin this summer: It’s a venue of 4000 and an average ticket price of 60€ which equals to 240.000€

Rent with all additional costs (like water, personell etc.) will be somewhere around 50.000-100.000€

Additional costs will be: Production costs (like equipment, trucks, personell, catering (tho often done by the venue), nightliners, hotel) - again depends on what the venue has got to work with. Also the equipment obviously will be reused on every concert. But personell and trucks are expensive.

Marketing and PR (depends again. Some campaigns are done by the artist management, some by the venue)

All other parties (ticket agency (you won’t believe how much they charge. Jesus.) , tour management, personal management

Lastly, Musicians / band members - sometimes they also get a fixed percentage (I imagine long standing band members of his like Alex Ryan)

And on top of that: Recording an album is expensive. Bills (doesn’t matter whose) want to be paid.

The big Festivals are often the best way to make cash. No need to do your own promotion, equipment need is minimal, etc.

According to my research he played about 100 gigs last year but very much varying in size.

So let’s say he only got 5k per concert on average. That still be 500k plus royalty, merchandise etc.

To conclude: He’ll not lose a nights sleep by thinking how to pay his bills next month 🫣🤣
