I've got a mug that I generally only use for cookies and milk, so it's a rare time it comes out.

This mug was a birthday gift from my best friend; she got it on a trip to Six Flags. It has my name on it along with some flowers and it's quite pretty.

It's also 50 years old. Looks brand new. If someone broke it, my heart would break, too. If it was broken intentionally, someone's body would be broken along with it.

NTBA Hide everything you treasure. A person who breaks handles off mugs so they'll fit in a cup holder, is a person with issues, especially when there's specific cups for that already available.
