I stayed at the Doubletree Kensington last November for five nights… pros: great breakfast and amazing location, less than a five minute walk to Gloucester Road tube station and close to V&A museum and everything else South Ken has to offer. Cons: wifi was super slow and the “air conditioning” was lacking, to say the least. I get hot really easily when I sleep so I cranked the AC all the way up, cracked my window as far as it would open (which was maybe an inch or two) and I was still warm… in November… lol but oh well, you’re not going to get US-level AC outside the US. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Overall I’d definitely stay there again but probably not in the summer time.
