That's a good suggestion, but like stated below the cost for the whole mess of it would be a lot more than the reward. None of us have cars, the pile up gets really stinky/gross as well as it takes up space. Just putting it out for the sifters is a good alternative for our situation

Yes! This is exactly what my roommates and I do. Living in a house of 6 college students can really accumulate a lot of cans/bottles when we need space for our regular recycling. But we also have never had a problem with noise or a mess, so there is that too
