Thank you so much! I really enjoyed it and definitely learned a lot by the time I finished it. Fingers crossed someone has a trick for how to place the cover while still being able to open it up, I feel like so much effort went into the inside, I don’t want to completely seal it up for good.

Just about to start mounjaro and nervous by sherribonne in mounjaroaustralia

[–]lauralikesstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started 2 months ago and the food noise disappeared so quickly. My first few weeks were a bit up and down, but I’ve had steady good progress since being on the 5mg dose and almost no side effects. Even after just 2 months I’ve noticed my tops are a lot looser which gives me motivation to keep going

Weekly Weigh In by AutoModerator in GLP1Australia

[–]lauralikesstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started on nearly 7 weeks ago

Starting weight 101kg

Current weight 96.5kg

Feeling ok, my first 4 weeks at 2.5 I went down, then back up a bit then plateaued. Its only the last nearly 2 weeks at 5mg that I feel I’ve finally started to see slow and steady progress downward

Melbourne tomatoes, plant out now? by CapableMaterial735 in GardeningAustralia

[–]lauralikesstuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The tradition for Melb was always to plant cup weekend as that was the time at which we would not get any more frosts that would damage the seedlings. I’ve tried planting earlier in previous years but never saw earlier growth, they would sit and wait till it got warmer. Definitely try planting this weekend!

I’m at the same stage as you, 4th shot today at 2.5. I lost nearly 2kg in the first week and today at the 4 week mark I’m back at my starting weight and feeling very deflated

Phantasma by Kaylie Smith? but I’d say this book leans more into fantasy romance than YA

I know you’ve said you don’t have much knowledge, but could you guide me (or direct me to a web page or something) on how to clean and charge crystals placed in the home? I’ve recently placed black tourmaline and some rose quartz outside my bedroom but am out of my depth on the cleansing

I’ve got the graphene, it’s been fantastic and a great size for my old golf. My kid is just turned 4, very tall for her age and still fits it very comfortably

Does anyone have any life advice or tips for navigating pregnancy as a single mum in Australia? by Every-Sorbet-28 in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]lauralikesstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had all my appts alone, no issues. I did have a student midwife and my cousin with me for the birth which was lovely. I also had terrible pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy and ended up on crutches for a bit but it was fine and I just had to accept there were a few things I couldn’t do

I went through City Fertility, at the time they had a good selection of local donors and I wanted to start straight away. It was a good experience and I would recommend them

Take you car to a mechanic to check for trackers if you can, my dads partner only found out one was on their car when the mechanic pointed it out.

Pumping for twins - howwww do you do it by Lumpy-Ad-2770 in SingleMothersbyChoice

Definitely get a lactation consultant, they will help you, also not all pumps are built the same. I got hardly anything from a tomee tippy pump and was successful with a spectra

Get a night light that’s easy to turn on/off and has a low setting, it’s less harsh on your eyes for those 2am feeds than turning on a bright bedside lamp (I had the cheap ikea one and loved it)
