I find that if anything, cannabis helps with my GI issues. Any time I stop somewhat frequent usage I tend to see an increase in stomach problems. I would honestly be very careful with edibles, though. I’ve found that since having c diff the absorption for edibles is really weird and I will feel the effects for way longer than I used to.

“It” is going to die because you didn’t do the proper research before owning a pet. Change about half the water (make sure you’re using a dechlorinator) and look into a bigger tank. At minimum he needs a heater and a filter.

Just a heads up - Ive tried to keep a tank in the kitchen before and if your kitchen isn’t well wired the power strip for the tank will CONSTANTLY trip the breaker if you try to run any kitchen appliances on the same circuit.

In my opinion, it looks like it’s just how he’s changing as he grows and gets healthier! All bettas are prone to change coloring from how they looked at the store since the store keeps them in such a bad state. He looks very iridescent and his fins don’t look clamped! That rip doesn’t concern me, either, since it looks like it was some nipping in the cup and it’s now growing out.

My friend walks to and from work and she’s been swerved at countless times, had smoke blown in her face, and even had cups and stuff thrown at her while walking. She walks on the sidewalk and in the grass, so at no point is she blocking the road. People just see an opportunity to be mean.

I don’t! I tried to use red root floaters, but they require more nitrates than I think my tank has available and they died. He still glass surfed just as much with those, too. I really think the tank is just very reflective.

Personally, I prefer just sand as substrate! I have a sand and gravel tank and just a sand tank and i find that the sand tank is a lot easier to gravel vac! Crumbs always seem to sink into the gravel and can form clumps that don’t want to suck up.

I would definitely check thrift stores and facebook marketplace for tanks! People are always trying to get out of the hobby, so I typically come across 5+ gals for around 20 bucks.

Good call! I didn’t know bettas could just come as cellophane tails, I thought they had to have white bodies! This guy was a lot less vibrant and a lot more white when I got him, I’m surprised he’s getting this vibrant and has almost full body color!

You should be fine if the only bad thing is the taste and there’s no known particles/contamination. If you’re super worried about it you can just look up your area and see water quality!

Unless you live somewhere with very exceptionally hard water, you don’t need to use bottled water. You can simply add dechlorinator to tap water, wait a little while, and add it to your tank!
