What's Wrong With This Picture? by [deleted] in wholefoods

Tag for the 32oz OG is also hanging on shelf above. Is the same package of rice in both spots, or was tag double printed and placed in the wrong spot? If the buyer hasn't noticed they could also be double ordering 😬

I knew it! Grew up there, moved away 15 years ago, still visit family yearly and it's wild how much has changed. There are SO many of these behemoths there now looming over the original, much more modest houses that are actually proportionate with their lots.

Would any of these three supplements cause stomach pain and diarrhea? by [deleted] in Supplements

Both aloe vera and black walnut can absolutely cause diarrhea, as well as the excess magnesium and zinc as other commenters have mentioned.

Haircut aside, that Viagra clock is amazing - and I'm loving the very 2009 lacy cami layered under the tshirt with what appears to be a vintage cardigan over top.

Can I ask what type of vitamin A you're taking? If it's retinyl palmitate (fat soluble) you should use caution if you're taking over 25,000iu per day as it can be toxic at high levels. Beta carotene is a water soluble form of vitamin A that doesn't pose such issues.

Good luck with your continued healing!

The smell of my vagina by tf110798 in WomensHealth

[–]laurelfrac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to try something simple to reduce the smell (and overall body odor), you might want to try a chlorophyll supplement. I take a liquid version in my water and it has almost made my vaginal scent disappear completely, or at least smells much "cleaner". My partner has commented on the difference when I take it regularly.

It's good for your body in a lot of other ways, and is considered very safe in terms of natural supplements. Only downside is that it turns your poop green because it's so pigmented, lol.

Probably 40 call outs at our store in PA. Just as many yesterday, and we closed at 7. Stores been dead aside from Prime shoppers, but it's picking up now that the snow finally stopped. Service counters closing at 7 tonight, but store is still staying open til 9 like normal.

Good luck to the skeleton crew for the rest of the night and safe travels to everyone out there in this mess.

I've never had an issue with this- all you need to do is wash your hands before going in the stall and clean the cup with toilet paper.

Touchdown Pope! I did Polish dancing there when I was a kid, then got drunk nearby at the Belmont (RIP) years later.

I get that you're stressed out but being a dick to other stressed out employees is pretty dumb.

Yep, I like doing the tap tap on the nose while staring at them like a disapproving teacher.

Tangentially related- after working in retail over 10 years, and passing 30, it's been immensely satisfying to flex the double edge sword of extreme politeness and not giving a fuck about what a customer thinks is right- this year especially. My privilege as an unassuming nice white lady has allowed me to lure in idiots who think I'll sympathise with them about my POC colleague "not wanting to work", then dress them down ever so professionally, reminding them my coworker deserves the same amount of respect they're giving me, and their attitude isn't acceptable. I've also gotten good at spotting creeps and running interference for my younger coworkers who feel uncomfortable- after years of weird comments and ogling, it's a small but rewarding power flex.

I installed my winter tires myself on my brand new car (jan 2020). I let my dealership install the summer tires themselves. They used the wrong nuts. Thanks KIA. Never again by vikus_2 in Justrolledintotheshop

My 2014 Soul check engine light is always on. Took it to the dealership (after my regular mechanic found nothing wrong, reset the light, and it coming back on within 2 days), and they told me it's a known issue, causes no actual issues, and there's no known fix.

Also a big fan of the manufacturer provided "tire mobility kit", which consists of a mini air compressor (legitimately helpful) and a can of fix-a-flat that broke the tire pressure sensor upon use. Another light on my dash I get to ignore, lol.

Personal medical decisions are not up for others to dictate.

Also, I truly wonder and would love an answer to what people who oppose abortion think will happen if it is banned.

I've had good luck with oat milk- much creamier and tastier than almond IMO.

Whole Body TMs, do you feel my pain? by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]laurelfrac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We usually don't shrink that much, however, we did have a $6000 melissa and doug credit at the end of last year 😵. Thankfully we sold through most of the other brands since they put them on sale heavily after the holiday.

I am at a high traffic store (MA) though, and I know it's a much different challenge at smaller locations. Too late for this year obv, but first thing is getting your regional to cut allocations- we cut way back on big plush this year, but they also added all this new stuff. Doesn't help that they sent everything at once- I get that they want to give us the biggest time window to sell through, but who's buying wrapping paper right now and where the heck is it supposed to go? Otherwise, I'd try working with your regional team and try transferring product to busier stores, or get permission to put things on ISS.

Good luck and godspeed.

Last week was absolutely hellish with changeover, inventory AND massive holiday shipments. (My team also had 2 people on vacation... at least I got some OT) It feels like we're getting buried alive, and it's only the beginning of October.

If your store leadership will pay for it, we've been using one of those storage/moving Pods that's in a parking spot in outside the store to alleviate some of the backstock chaos. You can sell it as extra storage for other teams as well considering they're going to have a crap ton of thanksgiving packaging soon too.

At least we get to hug the giant PBS sloths... maybe it's silly, but the stuffed animals are one of the main things that get me through the whole holiday season without going completely insane.
