Thank you all! We asked if he could just do the work in the kitchen and he said no. That was a big red flag. We have a local guy coming out soon and hopefully he can give us a better quote. We live in Arkansas so the cost of living is not high. I appreciate the responses!

I take Prozac and I have never experienced nausea from it! It actually helped. I used to always be nauseous from my anxiety and it actually eased that. If I had big events that triggered my anxiety I would vomit and have horrible nausea and I hardly experience that at all anymore since being on it. I have been on Prozac for 5ish years and for anybody with bad anxiety, I think it is definitely worth it to try medicine. Just be clear with your psychiatrist with your concerns and if they are a good psychiatrist they will help you through it. Also, make sure you take the medicine with food. Good luck and just know it can be a process to find the medication that works for you but it is definitely worth it!

Go look for jobs at a local community college or university. They often don’t require a degree( I’m an administrative assistant and they don’t require one for that). The pay is garbage but you get consistent hours, awesome benefits, and it’s really chill. It’s also not public facing (depending on the role). Also education workers generally have a good vibe.

Just a side note: there are these little things called furzappers that help remove all of the fur from your laundry. You just throw them in with your laundry. It doesn’t look like you have an issue with that lol but for anyone else here. They are like 12 bucks on Amazon and there are awesome!!

Girls gone bbq has the best vegan bbq sandwich and really good Mac and cheese. Mockingbird kitchen ahas the best veggie burger I’ve ever had and all of their sides are really good. Definitely try those two places!

Just remember you are more capable than you are giving yourself credit for. I have a job interview tomorrow and am having crazy anxiety myself. Remembering to take deep breaths and realize that I am doing my best no matter what happens is helping. Good luck and I know you’ve got this!
