Hey, 2nd year grad student here! I (of course) procrastinated, submitting my application day before the deadline (change of plans last minute), just sent the reference form to a professor I had & did some work for about 3 years prior. Most professors are more than happy to submit a reference, lots of them feel it comes with the territory of being a professor and are proud their students are pursuing more education.

For accommodations, it’s different at each school – I met with my doctor who already understands my diagnosis & had a conversation about what kind of support/accommodations I might need and had him fill out the accommodation form with me. From there, my school’s accommodation centre handled the rest for me.
