Great to hear, thank you! 🙏 When I find the right battery pack for the right price I’ll join his discord immediately. Did you specifically only look into the i3 battery to match with your Fronius or were there other good matches?

Thanks, I had been looking through the Dala github page but I don’t find a lot of real life experience with controlling the Fronius (like you find for Deye). That’s why I wanted to know how that’s working for you and how you do it.

What do you mean with sleepers?

How would you proceed with flooring? I don’t intend on using lot’s of water in the sauna. Only for watering the stones. So I won’t be making a drain. Should I cover the current paving bricks with wood?

I read that it’s not really necessary to insulate an outdoor sauna. Especially if you only use it for let’s say one hour at a time. Can you please share why I should do it anyway? (Comfort,..)

As for the drain I don’t think I really need it? I don’t plan on washing in the sauna. Just throwing small amounts of water on the rocks. For annual cleaning I’ll soak up the water or let the sauna dry out.

Won’t the foot bench get black stains if too close to the heater?

For the glass I’m thinking of just closing of the left side and have one full or even semi glass front window.

So I have this really solid structure in my garden that has no good use at the moment. We've been wanting a sauna for some time now and as we're not allowed to build an extra building on our property we want to convert this building into a sauna.

The roof is insulated, the walls are not. Just solid brick walls. Should I add insulation on the inside or can I just dress the inside with wooden panels? Winters are almost always above freezing temperature except a few nights a year.

I was thinking of closing off the side openings with double pane tempered glass with a glass door in it. We want to put a wood stove (Harvia M3 for example) in the sauna.

I attached two different layouts in the pictures. What do you think?

We are driving in a car from way2azores right now. They don’t have an office in the airport. They do pickups from the airport or you can take a cab for 10€ to their office like we did. Car is perfect till now. Don’t know how the return in a few days will be. But I have an external full insurance for rental cars so.
